As this season develops lots of changes have taken place. Lucy has grown up and left her childish affairs with Ray behind. She has set her sights on a new young man that she thinks will set J.R. on his heels. Lucy openly despises J.R. because she knows that it is because of him her father isn't living and working at Southfork and Ewing Oil. Pam has lost her unborn baby and has poured herself into her own work ignoring Bobby and their marriage woes.
Bobby runs into Jenna his childhood sweetheart and looks for comfort in an old friend. Miss Ellie finds a lump in her breast and has to have a mastectomy. She is worried that Jock wont' love her anymore once she has the surgery. Larry Hagman continues to give this series just what the audience asks for. He is so ruthless in his role as J.R. that viewers can't wait to see the next episode. People come and go at Southfork. Ray has hooked up with Lucy and then found a new found love in Donna, a previous girlfriend. Sue Ellen asks J.R. for a divorce only to discover that J.R. begs her to stay which leaves her confused.
J.R. plots against Sue Ellen in fear of losing his son. He hires a detective to prove that Sue Ellen is an unfit mother and drinking again. Meanwhile, a dead body shows up at Southfork and somehow the trail leads suspicously to Jock. Cliff Barnes grabs the opportunity to prove Jock guilty of the murder and hopes that somehow justice will be served and Cliff himself will end up with Southfork?
The Southfork Ranch must of course be exploited further and would therefore be sold. If you own a ranch or a farm loss to build, but once you play the online game Farmerama from Bigpoint and show you what's in you.
