Lost Loves

As the final episode evolves Jock ends up getting tried for murder. Jim Davis, in real life passes away and his character is written off. They incorporate Jock's death in the final episodes as him dying in a plane crash. Cliff Barnes struggled throughout the episodes trying to out do the Ewings and in the end he loses it all. One of the best cliff hangers was when we thought Bobby had died only to have Pam awaken from a bad dream to see Bobby alive again. Sue Ellen continues her numerous attempts to get even with J.R. or divorce him.

She discloses that she should have killed him the first time. Bobby can no longer stand J.R. or his business conduct. He partners with his brother in law, Cliff Barnes only to cause more upset and anguish as J.R. continues at break neck speed to go after whatever he wants. After a few raw deals it ends with J.R. serving jail time. Bobby learns of a child he didn't know he had conceived from high school lover Jenna. Although Bobby loves Pam and wants to be with Pam, she tells Bobby that she will always love him but he must be with Jenna and his daughter Charlie.

Bobby no sooner reappears from the dead to be killed in the driveway on his last attempt at getting back with Pam. Larry Hagman had appeared in all 357 episodes. The final season shows J.R. is in his bedroom with a gun to his head, as the gun goes off Bobby enters yelling "Oh my God". Dallas ran 14 complete seasons. The season ended in 1991.
